Ok so I just got through what I would like it to forever be known as "Hell Week."
First of all, I had exams all week: Psychology on Monday (which always sucks to have an exam on a Monday), Business Calculus on Tuesday, and 1 of the 2 exams in History on Thursday. All three of these exams were extremely hard, especially considering that I haven't been in a scholastic setting for over a year! I THINK I did fine though, well except for Psychology. I already got that test back and I got a "C" on it. It made me so mad because I studied hard for it, trust me I was not the best person to speak to on Wednesday when I got it back (I was pissy!)
Secondly, our good friend was having pregnancy problems so she went to the hospital. She suffered from a disease called "mirror disease" where whatever happened to her unborn child would also happen to her. This is a fatal disease so they got her baby out (Sea-Section). They were able to save the child and her for a short time, the next day her child died due to body failures. We had his funeral this past Friday--he was smalled than the palm of your hand :(
Finally, well actually this is what started hell week...John's (my boyfriend) dad had a massive heart-attack and was hospitalized. He was there for pretty much the entire week while the DRs studied him to make sure everything was all right. He went to the Radiologist and they found that his arteries were collapsing which was causing his heart problems (not to mention he has a numerous amount of other problems).
It has been about a week and a half now and he has not had any kind of surgery to fix the problems. On Tuesday he will be going through a test to check his kidneys? or liver? I cant remember which one, but they have to do that before they can set a date for his actual heart surgery.
Although I am not a very religious person, lately I have been praying for not only John, but his family. His mom (my mom) needs it the most. Yet she is somehow holding herself together for her family...I envy her so much for how she is handling herself throughout this ordeal.
Please say a prayer for our family and keeps us in your hearts. We will get through this eventually, but right now we just can't take anything more.
Peace and love
